How Do Dental Implants Work?

Titanium is used for the implants, which act as a strong foundation to hold the replacement teeth. Because titanium is biocompatible (or beneficial to surrounding tissue), it allows the bone to bond successfully with the implant. Implants can be used to restore one, a few. or all teeth. They can also provide more stabilization for dentures, making them more comfortable than traditional removable dentures, which may slip during wear.

If you believe that dental implants are the best solution for you, be sure to discuss your options with our skilled implant experts. Out of all the other restorative solutions for missing teeth, implants are the most natural-looking, and they will match your natural teeth for natural-looking results.

Once the doctor has decided this is the best option for your dental needs, an examination of your mouth will be carried out to make sure your jawbone is strong enough to hold the implants and that your teeth and gums are healthy. The implant will be inserted into the bone in a minor surgical procedure. Your artificial tooth will be permanently attached to the implant to restore the look, feel, and function of the tooth.

If you are looking for full smile restoration, you came to the right place! We offer same-day dental implants to restore smiles at your comfort and convenience.

Do I Need A Dental Implant?

You may be a candidate for dental implants if you want to:

  • Replace one or more missing teeth
  • Maintain healthy jawbone and prevent bone loss
  • Help support a fixed (implant-supported) denture
  • Restore the look, function, and feel of a missing tooth

If you are interested in dental implants, schedule a consultation with our expert team. We will perform a thorough exam to assess your overall oral health to determine if dental implants are right for you.

What Are All-On-4-Implants?

We offer all-on-4 implants to fully restore teeth through the use of implant-support dentures. In the past, a full set of teeth would require implants for each one or at least more than four for a full set. However, that meant bone grafting was definitely needed, and it would take weeks for the bone to heal enough for the implants to be ready for the artificial teeth.

Now it only requires four implants – two go at the back of your jaw and two in the front, carefully angled for a better fit. They are similar to normal implants and also made out of titanium to be surgically attached. However, it is a huge advantage as it requires far less implants, and it is less invasive. Another benefit is that it does not require bone grafts, which significantly cuts down the healing time, and you can get your replacement teeth during your visit to the dentist that same day.
